Charles works to improve the state of AI risk management through evaluations. He previously led the AI R&D team at Finetune (now Prometric), building products for the testing and assessment industry, contributing to open source efforts at EleutherAI in his free time. As a grad student, he studied music cognition and created experimental instruments for play in VR.
