Emma initially joined METR in March 2023 as Chief of Staff, and over time took on increasing responsibility, especially with growing and managing the team, and working closely with Beth to make key decisions and set strategic direction for the organization. Before METR, Emma’s background was in fluid mechanics and education of large-scale societal challenges.
