Maksym works on the tools and infrastructure for running METR’s evals. Previously he was a full-stack engineer on GitHub Copilot, and before that on Cider, Google’s internal web-based IDE. Originally from Kyiv, Ukraine, he now lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with his wife, two kids, and four cats. Outside work he enjoys spending quality time with his family and training small language models.
